Kiara Gradney obtained her J.D. from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. She is a trial attorney at Kane Russell Coleman Logan, PC and has successfully represented clients in a wide array of areas, including general civil litigation matters, criminal, oil and gas, real estate, personal injury, construction, and parallel proceedings. Prior to becoming a commercial litigation attorney, Kiara was a prosecutor in Galveston County. Today, in addition to being a trial attorney, Kiara is an adjunct professor at University of Houston's Law Center.
Kiara is most proud of her servant leadership, which she has made a priority throughout her career. Prior to her appointment on the Harris Conty Sheriff's Civil Service Commission, Kiara served as a board member and panel chair on the Houston Independent Police Oversight Board and Administrative Discipline Committee. Because Kiara recognizes the value in her journey, she gives back to the community by making time to do pro bono legal work for low-income individuals.
